Energy / Climate Change Programme

The Energy / Climate Change Programme aims to increase public awareness about issues of climate change and sustainable energy, analyze the results of energy sector restructuring and prepare recommendations for the government and IFIs, promote development of energy efficiency and renewable energy in Georgia, and to monitor oil and gas transportation projects in order to protect environmental, socio-economic and human rights.

Since 2001 Green Alternative has been a member of the Climate Action Network (CAN CEE) and the International Network for Sustainable Energy (INFORSE) www.inforse.org.
